Sheep on farm

For our health, for our land: How this couple’s search for tummy-friendly dairy resulted in a feel-good sheep milk operation – thisNZlife

From ewe to you – Kirwee farmers launch new sheep milk brand – RNZ

"Having sensitive skin limits what I can use, so I was a bit apprehensive about giving these a go. I found the story behind the Canterbury brand engaging though – they use sheep milk and incorporate active 16+ mānuka honey. The products contain no nasties, are dermatologically tested, PETA approved and pregnancy safe. The aluminium bottles are a big tick. Not being a body wash fan, I got out a bath puff to use it with, and away I went. I experienced a feeling of luxury, and the fact there’s no fragrance was a plus for me. My skin felt soft and smooth, with no tight-skin effect after drying. Applying the body lotion, I learnt not to be heavy handed – a little goes a long way – and it’s easy to massage in. The hand cream has a slight fragrance and leaves sheen, but is not greasy".
